Preparing for holidays at Christmas tree farm

Most of us aren't giving Santa a second thought these days, but a local man is already preparing for Christmas.

Jan Blank of Blank's Evergreen Acres in Creve Coeur is shearing his pine trees so they will form into perfect cones.

They need to be cut now because this is the time when the buds are forming.
